The Best Smartwatch

Here is a list of our top picks for The Best SmartWatch:

With smartwatches popping up everywhere, we took our time to review the top ones available in the market. Unlike other gadgets, smartwatch stays constantly on your wrist. So, this is something you have a very personal relationship with.

In our research, we did not just look for the one that has the latest bells and whistles, but we needed something that is stylish and comfortable on your hand as well.

Apple Watch Sport is stylish. The strong but light aluminum case comes in four different colors – silver, space gray, gold, and rose gold.

The watch-display is protected by a alumino-silicate glass that is resistant to scratches and regular wear and tear.

The watch comes with fluoroelastomer bands that are durable, flexible, light, and soft. You can get them in a variety of colors to suit your needs.

Apple Watch Sport has been the #1 best selling smartwatch among customers.  Read the customer reviews here.

Other Top Rated SmartWatches

If Apple product does not quite suit your taste, our pick for the best smartwatch “runner up” is The Pebble Steel Smartwatch.

Pebble 2 Heart ( - Black/Black)
Product Highlights:
  • heart rate monitor
  • automatic step + sleep tracker
  • built-in microphone

First of all, Pebble Steel looks cool. This beauty is crafted from marine-grade stainless-steel,Corning Gorilla Glass and comes with gorgeous black leather band.

Second, it does things that many newer smartwatches have yet to catch up to.

It is waterproof up to 5 ATM (165 Feet) – that means it is also showerproof and you won’t ever have to take it off (if you don’t want to!).

You’re able to accept phone calls, read text messages, and see any notifications you get on your phone.

There are hundreds of great apps and watch faces you can download. You will also be able to control your music right from your wrist with iTunes, Spotify and Pandora.

My favorite feature of Pebble Steel is that it does not take long to charge and the battery lasts 5-7 days on a single charge.

It’s something you can’t do without, once you get it.

Other Smartwatches That Are Worth Considering

Samsung Gear 2 Neo Smartwatch

If you own a Samsung product (e.g. S5), Samsung Gear 2 Neo will be a great addition.

Samsung Gear S3 Frontier ( SM-R760NDAAXAR - US Version With Warranty)
Product Highlights:
  • a distinctive steel bezel that you can rotate to access apps and notifications , strap with buckle - 2.76 inches, large strap with holes - 5.12 inches, small strap with holes - 4.33 inches
  • text, call and get notifications directly from your watch through your bluetooth connected smartwatch
  • make payments with samsung pay almost anywhere you swipe or tap a credit card. battery type and size : 380mah li ion

It comes with all the regular bells and whistles that regular smartwatches come with.

It has a built in MP3 player. I hate carrying bulky phone or music player around in the gym. If you are like me, you will be thrilled about its built-in MP3 player that you can use with a set of bluetooth headphones.

The pedometer and fitness tracking options are great as well.

Sony Smartwatch

Despite some poor reviews on sites like Online, I believe Sony Smartwatch is a great buy for the price.

The one thing that I do not like about this watch is the clip on back. I hate it. It adds 50% to the thickness of the device and offers nothing.

Also, not a big fan of nonsensical proprietory connector – why can’t Sony just simplify things and do the good old USB connector?

Other than those, I still recommend this watch because the pros far outweigh the cons. It tells time, is really light, works well with latest Android phones, comes with secondary wrist adapter so that you can use any standard sized wristwatch band, has growing pool of apps from the Google Play store and has a decent battery life.
